Timberline Custom homes was developed in 1996 by Ray Northey as a division of Northey Contracting Inc. After fourteen years owning a contracting business, Ray was anxious to stand out above the crowd. A customer suggested the Timberline name and friends helped with the now well-recognized wolf logo. Office staff were put into place to answer phone calls, arrange consultations, and organize sub-trades allowing Timberline to expand. |

The Timberline name combined with referrals from a growing number of satisfied clients meant lots of people began calling in. Timberline began to grow by reputation. Visitors and residents boating on the Kawartha Lakes began to notice the beautifully integrated workmanship of Timberline Homes along the lakeshore. |
